Gentle Yoga - Livestream

A gentle yoga practice to help you move your body with ease, settle after your day, and relax into the evening. Movements do include some weight bearing on wrists and shoulders and movement from the floor to standing and back again. Modifications/variations offered and use of props to support or enhance your practice is welcomed and encouraged.

All-levels Yoga - Livestream

A 60 minute moderately-paced practice suitable for beginners and experienced students - does include weight bearing of the shoulders and standing to floor and back movements so the ability to get up and down without external assistance is recommended. Variations and use of props will be demonstrated as needed. Practices includes regular movements through sun salutations or "vinyasa flow" with step by step guidance as needed.

Bring a sense of ease into your body with a slower-paced all-levels yoga flow. Students will be guided through a slow-moving, super-stretchy flowing practice that also allows for time to settle in and experience different postures. Previous yoga experience is helpful but not necessary.

Restorative Yoga with Reiki - In-person at 288 Main Street, Tilton (at The Steady Edit)

Enjoy a calming restorative yoga practice where you will be supported by props and allowed to settle into seated or supine postures for several minutes before transitioning to another supportive and relaxing posture. Minimal hands-on Reiki will be offered during practice. Students are welcome to bring any additional props such as a comfortable pillow or a favorite cozy blanket.

This moderately challenging practice flows at a slower pace allowing time to settle and find strength within each posture and transition. Strong postures will be held and movement is more controlled. A focus on building balance and strength through muscle engagement while maintaining controlled breathing is offered throughout the practice. Experience with yoga is helpful but beginners are welcome to join this practice.

Chair Yoga - Free Livestream Class

A Yoga practice that is mostly seated, in a chair. Depending on the group's overall mobility some standing postures may be included with the chair being a tool to assist in balance - this class will be tailored to meet the needs of those that show up. Materials required: firm chair and comfortable clothes. A rolling, rocking, or reclining chair is not recommended or safe for this practice.

A slower-paced gentle practice suitable for beginners and experienced students, those seeking a softer practice, those returning to yoga from absence or injury this practice is offered with minimal floor to standing and back transitions and lower intensity postures and movements. This evening practice is intended to help you ease into a restful night through gentle movement and breath work. Postures are offered in steps and modifications may be offered along the way.

Energizing Gentle Yoga Flow - in-person at TTCC

A moderately paced practice that offers students the ability to bring awareness to the body and breath practicing mindfulness through centering, movement, and breath work with fewer. Students will be offered a variety of postures and movements to help maintain and build physical strength and mobility before enjoying a short final relaxation and closing.

Teen Yoga at TTCC

A beginner friendly yoga practice geared toward middle and high school students (any school/homeschool). Participants will learn basic physical postures, transitions, and breath techniques that support both physical and mental wellness in a fun, calming, and compassionate environment. Please bing a yoga mat if you have one, a water bottle, and wear comfy clothes you can move in. Classes may be booked individually, join whenever you can - no commitment to a series required!

PLEASE NOTE: For all participants under the age of 18 a parent or guardian must sign a waiver prior to participation. A waiver will be sent to the email used to register for classes and can be signed and returned in-person or via email.

Winter Solstice Restorative Yoga & Reiki at Flippy Hippy

Join us for this one-of-a-kind restorative yoga experience at Flippy Hippy located at 950 Whittier Highway in Moultonborough to honor the winter solstice by slowing down and settling in. This two hour practice will begin with centering and breath work followed by supportive restorative postures where students are offered the opportunity to experience the gentle energetically healing touch of Reiki before returning to a practice of breath work and meditation to close. Enjoy the cozy setting which has a comforting vibe of its own brought to us by the magic of shop owner, Chelsea.

Bring a mat, water bottle, and wear comfy clothes. Props are provided by Rising Crow Yoga. No prior yoga experience is necessary and all postures are done on the floor.

January Livestream Series: Yin Yoga

Join Michelle for a 4-week livestream only Yin Yoga series Wednesdays in January from 6-7pm.

Yin Yoga is a practice of longer-held postures done mostly on the floor. Yin Yoga is practiced with the intention of finding the balance between effort and ease, creating space in the body while surrendering to gravity and time, and working deeper into the body by focusing on the ligaments, tendons, and fascial tissues.

Helpful suggestions on props and notes for planning your practice (not required, but recommended):

It may be beneficial to have a small amount of wall space available during your practice.

Suggested props are a firm blanket, two blocks, a yoga strap/belt, and a bolster or firm cushion. If you need recommendations please contact Michelle at yogamichellenh@gmail.com for help with props.
